SITUATION:
I am recommending FTO Melanie Crilly for a Point Coin and award in recognition of her commitment to upholding company policy and standards. When Melanie observes policy violations or hazards, she promptly communicates and reports them to management. Beyond this, she has demonstrated leadership by empowering her coworkers to do the same. Staff members now regularly reach out to Melanie when they observe FirstMed units in violation in the field—including issues such as improper uniforms or backing without a spotter. They provide her with photos and details, which she then forwards to management for review. Melanie Crilly consistently goes above and beyond her duties to ensure compliance, uphold company values, and create accountability among her peers. Her actions reflect excellence and a strong commitment to helping the company operate at its highest standards.

SITUATION:
We received a commendatory call from the Department of Mental Health (DMH) regarding the exemplary performance of our crew members, Alejandro, Lanza, and Christian De Leon.
The crew responded to a DMH-related call initiated by CDO Crew Management. Upon arrival on the scene, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism and compassion in engaging with both the patient and the patient's family. Through their calm and effective communication, they were able to successfully gain the patient’s cooperation for voluntary transport under a 5150 hold.
DMH representative Jacqueline personally reached out to express her appreciation and extend her greetings, commending the crew for their professionalism and the respectful manner in which they handled a sensitive situation.

SITUATION:
EMT Jose Rosales was personally selected by management to be the first to deploy our newest rig. This recognition was earned through his professionalism, reliability, fast and thorough unit checkouts, and his consistent effort to operate and maintain ambulances in excellent condition.
As a reward, he was assigned the new rig for its very first deployment in the field as well-deserved acknowledgment of his dedication and high standards.
